(On May 12, 2007, the citizens of the Town of Sunnyvale chose to take control of the educational needs of high-school-aged kids and voted to build its first-ever high school. Students entering the 9th and 10th grades have already been incorporated into the Sunnyvale Independent School District.  Students entering the the 11th and 12th grade will be added one-year-at-a-time, beginning in August, 2009, until 2011, when Sunnyvale will have its first-ever graduating class!
